This is the most beautiful place. Taj Mahal way built by the Mughal emperor 

Shah Jahan (1628-1658), who was the grandson of Akbar the great. As the 

history of Taj Mahal goes, it was built in the memory of his beloved queen 

Arjumand Bano Begum, better known as “Mumtaj Mahal”. Taj Mahal, the great 

mausoleum, is located on the right bank of the river Yamuna. It is situated at a 

point, where the river takes a sharp turn and flows towards the east. The Taj 

mahal is one of the seven wonder of the world. Shah Jahan loved the Taj Mahal 

so much no one else like him could build the Taj Mahal, so he had his hands cut 

by the artisans. The glow of the Taj Mahal is gradually decreasing due to 

pollution we should save this beautiful historical monument.

The Red Fort has an area of 254.67 acres (103.06) enclosed by 2.41 kilometers

(1.50mi) of defensive walls, punctuated by turrets and turrets and bastions and

varying in height from 18 meters 59ft on the river side to 33 meters (108 ft)

on the city side. The fort is octagonal, with the north-south axis longer than the

east- west axis. The marble, floral decorations and double domes in the fort’s

buildings exemplify later Mughal architecture. Shah Jahan built the Red fort in

1648. This is the most beautiful monument. Foreigner comes to visit this

attractive fort. This is the source of income for India.

The Minar is made of red sandstone covered with intricate carvings and verses

from the Quran. The Minar comprises several superposed flanged and

cylindrical shafts, separated by balconies carried on muqarnas corbels. The first

three stores are made of red sandstone the fourth and fifth stores are of

marble and sandstone. At the foot of the tower is the Quwwat-ul –Islam

Mosque, the first mosque to be built in India. The nearby 7 Meters high iron  

Pillar is a metallurgical curiosity, standing in the Qutb complex. The pillar has 

Brahmi inscriptions on it that predate the Islamic Minar. Qutubuddin Aibak of

the slave Dynasty laid the foundation for the constructions of Qu tub Minar.

But can’t complete it. After the death of Qutubuddin Aibak, Illtutmish

completed the construction of Qu tub Minar. We proud to be an Indian we
